Your First Steps into Swiss Hospitality with Swiss Education Academy Summer Camp

In July, our student Tien Pham joined the Swiss Education Academy summer program, hosted by top institutions within the Swiss Education Group – the world’s largest hospitality education group and a trusted partner of EduWhy. This summer camp served as an essential foundation for his future study abroad journey. More than just a trip, it marked the beginning of his personal and academic integration into Swiss culture, learning environments, and the high standards of the global hospitality industry.

Through the summer camp, Tien and fellow students gained incredibly valuable experiences:

✨ Workshops and Industry Visits:

Over two enriching weeks, Tien attended classes on Swiss Hospitality and Luxury Marketing, where he learned firsthand about global service standards and premium brand management. He also visited major hospitality businesses to witness real-world operations and gain insights into how the industry functions in Switzerland.

✨ Exploring Swiss Culture and Nature:

Tien and his fellow participants had the chance to visit Glacier 3000, a breathtaking cable car destination over 3,000 meters high in the Swiss Alps. They also explored the unique cultures of major cities like Bern and Lausanne, while engaging in exciting outdoor activities such as boating and mountain hiking. These experiences offered a deeper understanding of Swiss culture, easing their transition to future studies in this diverse and welcoming country.

✨ Expanding International Connections and Clarifying Future Paths:

The camp also provided Tiến with a diverse international network of friends from all over the world. Through group activities and cultural exchange, he developed important intercultural communication and collaboration skills – essential qualities in the hospitality industry, where connecting with people is at the heart of everything.
