Swiss Edu Hub Steps Up as a Bridge: UEF Signs MOA with IMI - Switzerland
July 18, 2024
Once again, Swiss Edu Hub has successfully fulfilled its mission of connecting leading Swiss institutions with Vietnamese universities. On July 18th, UEF University signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with IMI - Switzerland, becoming IMI's first university partner in Vietnam.
During this cordial meeting, both parties had the chance to discuss and address practical issues in their mission to train high-quality human resources for this smokeless industry. With the proposal to develop an international 3+1 linkage program and summer programs, the institutions aim to provide students with core knowledge and quality internship opportunities while saving costs. UEF third year students will be able to complete their final BA (Hons) semester at IMI, benefitting from a Swiss paid internship as well as a UK-validated degree award from our partner Manchester Metropolitan University.
After the ceremony, Prof. Caldwell was invited to attend a special UEF alumni networking dinner and was highly impressed with the traditional Vietnamese dishes served and the excellent hospitality on display from the students and alumni.
We are very much looking forward to working closely with UEF going forward and can't wait to welcome their first batch of students to the IMI campus!
